How to get to campus of Gaillarde?

The conference will take place in Institut Agro, 2 place Pierre Viala, Hall Philippe Lamour, 34000 MONTPELLIER – France

Access by public transports
  • Take tramway 3 to the « Plan Cabanes » stop, then take bus 10 to the « Avenue de l'agriculture » stop. Head towards Celleneuve to the « Erables » stop and walk for 5 minutes.
  • Or take tramway 3 to the « Astruc » stop, and walk for 15 minutes.
  • Or take tramway 4 to the « Peyrou Arc de Triomphe » stop, then walk to the « Doria » stop on bus 6. Take bus 6 towards Euromédecine, stop at « Pierre Viala » and walk for 2 minutes.

Bus frequency: every 6 min (30 min during school holidays)

Since summer 2018, Montpellier has built a new high-speed train station on the periphery of the city. Be sure to check the right destination station when booking.

The Montpellier Saint-Roch train station is located right in the center of town, just 200 meters from the Place de la Comédie. You can get to all Montpellier districts by taking the two local tramway lines, as well as by bus or taxi. The train station and all other forms of transport (trams, bus, taxi) are all just a stone’s throw away from the city center !

Get to Montpellier by plane

The Montpellier Méditerranée Airport is located just 8 km from the city center. The drive takes around ten minutes. It is easy to get from the airport to downtown Montpellier by Airport Shuttle, by taxi or thanks to a car rental service.

  • Getting to Montpellier Airport by Airport Shuttle. An Airport Shuttle by Hérault Transport and the bus and tram network by TaM, allow easy access to Montpellier Airport by public transport from the entire Montpellier Metropolitan area.
